Saint Joseph's Catholic School is a private, Roman Catholic day school offering a  college-preparatory education for students in grades 6-12 throughout the greater Greenville  community. Established in 1993, the school is rooted in a rigorous liberal arts curriculum that  includes college-preparatory, honors, and Advanced Placement courses, supported by a  combination of co-educational and single-gender instruction. With small class sizes and a  dedicated faculty, Saint Joseph's provides a nurturing yet challenging atmosphere where  students can excel academically while developing spiritually and personally in a Christ-centered  environment.  At the heart of our mission is the Saint Joseph's Way, a unique educational approach that views  Christ as an active presence who fulfills the spiritual needs of our students. The school features 53 athletic teams, numerous  service learning projects, many fine arts opportunities, and a variety of clubs that allow students  to explore their personal interests. St. Joseph Catholic School, located in Anderson, was founded in 1967 and is home to children in K4 through 8th grade.

St. Joseph was the first private school in Anderson County to be accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and Cognia.

Our students score very well on national standardized tests, with many of the 4th through 8th graders qualifying for Duke TIP. Staffed by certified teachers, our school offers small class sizes, personalized attention, and a family-friendly atmosphere. These factors combine to contribute greatly to the success of our students. St. Joseph Catholic School focuses on enabling children to reach their full potential, both academically and spiritually. The students are taught love and respect for self and others, compassion and responsibility, dignity and integrity, peace and justice. This integration of values and academics enables each student to grow as a whole person. Many special subject classes are offered, including; Spanish, music, art, physical education and computer. The school also offers several after-school activities including Chess club, Choir, Lego League, and art club to name a few. The PTO is very active and bridges the gap between home and school with many family-oriented activities.

 The only Christian K-12 Mandarin Immersion school in Upstate SC, with a Montessori-style and multisensorial characteristics of the Orton-Gillingham approach to meet the needs of all students in mainstream classrooms and those with learning exceptionalities such as dyslexia for a successful educational journey 

 The Chandler School is a compact, dynamic, thriving educational environment that serves students in grades K-8 who have been diagnosed with language-based learning differences, such as dyslexia.  

Summit Academy is a tuition FREE, public charter middle school. We are a virtual/hybrid school, which means our instruction is done virtually, by REAL and CERTIFIED teachers, teaching SC state standards, through live lessons (that are also recorded), hands on learning, small group instruction, one on one tutoring, and independent learning coaches. We meet one time each month, around the state, for an in-person experience. These experiences focus on leadership, relationships, team building, and FUN!! Although we are virtual, we VALUE relationships, hands on learning, and rigorous instruction. We are open for any middle school aged SC resident. We are a new model, but have 2 well established sister schools (Youth Leadership Academy in Pickens and Tall Pines STEM Academy in Aiken). These schools have waitlists of over 600 students, so we created Summit Academy to give those families another option! Our goal is to give an incredible middle school experience, while allowing students more time and flexibility for extracurricular activities and hobbies.  

Sounds of Carolina was founded in 2016 by Caitlin Whitehouse Sparace, as a culmination of her experience teaching and performing around the world. Since it’s start, Sounds of Carolina has continued to grow through support from the upstate community. What began with one student at the Anderson Arts Center has grown into a wonderful community of teachers and students between Anderson and Greenville locations

TSCHAA is a Third Option homeschool accountability association serving families across SC. We offer online support groups (including one for families homeschooling a child with a special need), diploma/report card/transcript services, field trips, contests, parent educator book clubs, challenges, and more! 

 Our classes are small by design, offering a unique and individualized college preparatory experience while emphasizing learning through the lens of a Biblical Worldview.

 GCA was started and continues to exist to provide a distinctly classical, Christian, and covenantal education. We focus on equipping each student with the tools of biblical discernment and, in partnership with parents, assisting them in “bringing every thought captive” and thinking in Christian categories. Our academic programs are rooted in the life-changing, inerrant truths of the Gospel, and our students are flourishing in the classical tradition. We are a growing school community: for the 2024-25 school year, over 200 Grammar students are enrolled alongside over 60 Logic students and 60 Rhetoric students.  

  Legacy Early College is a public charter school located in Greenville’s West End. Legacy's education model combines academic excellence, nutrition, and fitness. Legacy is a school of mastery, serves only nutritious meals and is the only public school in SC that provides daily PE for every scholar.
